Frameless pack torso length is the actual measurement from the from the bottom of the pack to the shoulder strap center seam. Is it usually 2″ to 4″ taller than a traditional measure for a framed pack. Torso length in a soft, frameless pack is variable as there is no large, padded hip belt. A soft pack torso length is different from a measure for a larger framed pack.
