About

MELOOKI is the collaborative effort of Melissa Manfull, a Los Angeles-based visual artist, and her Swiss husband, Lukas Vollenweider, a mechanical engineer, and skilled craftsman. Both avid long-distance hikers and passionate outdoor enthusiasts, we specialize in crafting small batches of visually exciting ultralight performance outdoor products.

Each product is a testament to our commitment to quality. Individually handmade in our home workshop, we craft our products from endless patterns so that each customer receives a unique piece of gear. We take pride in using as many recycled fabrics and materials as possible, ensuring every customer receives a sustainable, long-lasting, personalized product.

Operating from our small home workshop, we strive to minimize our ecological footprint. We find joy in both the outdoors and city life, and we have designed our products to complement both lifestyles in an easy and hip way.

Manufacturing

Our products are proudly designed and manufactured by us at our small home in Los Angeles, CA USA.

Shipping

In-stock items ship in 1-3 business days.
Items that are not in stock have a lead time. Please check each individual product page for the appropriate lead time.
We ship at the moment only to the US using USPS Priority service.
A $10 flat fee is charged at checkout for your order.

Warranty

All sewn gear is warranted for 1 Year for manufacturing and material defects. We do not warranty user damage. We will stand behind the quality of all our products. If you experience any problems with your MELOOKI gear, please reach out to us with an email. If you need repairs on your gear, we are also happy to do so. Regardless of the situation, MELOOKIE is dedicated to customer service and has every intention of making sure that you are satisfied with your gear.

Returns / Refunds

Stock Items: We will accept returns of all stock items that are in unused condition within 30 days of purchase. If you believe your product to be defective, please contact us with the details of the defect. For new, unused item returns, the customer must pay the return shipping.

Custom Items: Due to the nature of custom work, custom items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
