About

MELOOKI is the collaborative effort of Melissa Manfull, a visual artist from Los Angeles, and her Swiss husband, Lukas Vollenweider, a mechanical engineer and skilled craftsman. As avid long-distance hikers and passionate outdoor enthusiasts, we create visually exciting ultralight performance gear designed for both function and fun.

Each product reflects our commitment to quality and individuality. Every piece is handmade by us using a wide range of patterns, ensuring that each customer receives something truly unique. We prioritize recycled fabrics and materials whenever possible, creating gear that is sustainable, durable, and personal.

After building our brand in Los Angeles, we are currently in the process of relocating to Switzerland. As we settle into our new home, we are rebuilding our workshop and slowly setting up production again. This transition marks an exciting new chapter for MELOOKI, rooted in the landscapes that originally inspired us.

We strive to keep our ecological footprint low and design gear that seamlessly fits both outdoor adventures and everyday city life.

Manufacturing

Our gear was originally designed and handmade in Los Angeles, CA. We are currently setting up our new workshop in Switzerland and will resume production as soon as possible.

Shipping

All of our gear is custom-made. During our transition to Switzerland, lead times may vary—please contact us at info@melooki.com for the most up-to-date information.
Shipping options will be updated once our new workshop is fully operational.

Warranty

All sewn gear is warranted for 1 Year for manufacturing and material defects. We do not warranty user damage. We will stand behind the quality of all our products. If you experience any problems with your MELOOKI gear, please reach out to us with an email. If you need repairs on your gear, we are also happy to do so. Regardless of the situation, MELOOKIE is dedicated to customer service and has every intention of making sure that you are satisfied with your gear.

Returns / Refunds

Custom Items: Due to the nature of custom work, custom items are non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
